We’re diving head-first into UK Drum & Bass for our latest curated playlist. While the genre never really went away, it’s undoubtedly enjoying a renaissance.

Pioneering British D’n’B producer LTJ Bukem, whose label Good Looking championed liquid D’n’B, serves as our inspiration for this collection. Liquid D’n’B emerged in the late 1990s in reaction to the darker, more aggressive sounds pervasive in the D’n’B of the time. Liquid often uses rare groove jazz samples to create a melodic, dreamy, and euphoric mood suited to restful focus. It’s the polar opposite of hardcore.

This playlist, co-curated with AI, consists of tracks uploaded in the last year, and is designed to take you on a journey to discover the full breadth of this reinvigorated electronic subgenre.
